Crime Update 30th November to 5th December 2025 |

Dear Residents, Here is your crime update for Silhill for 30/11/25 to 5/12/25. Unfortunately, we have had a few burglaries and car thefts as detailed below:
There were two different BMW 2 series cars stolen overnight from HEATON ROAD. Both were locked and secured. The offenders entered by unknown means.
There was an attempt to steal a BMW 1 Series from HEATON ROAD. The offenders were able to enter the vehicle but were unable to start it.
Three suspects broke into a house on HEATON ROAD by climbing over the fence and smashing the glass at the rear. They then left the area walking up WARWICK ROAD.
A suspect broke into a house on BROAD OAKS ROAD by smashing glass at the rear and climbing through a window. However, he was disturbed by an occupant and left without stealing anything.
Good news! For the first time in 26 years, horses have returned to West Midlands Police. The mounted unit were out and about in Solihull on Tuesday 2nd December.
Officers from the LEOS team took part in Op Advance, which saw several vehicles dealt with for speeding offences.
The team have made arrests this week, including two high risk domestic violence suspects who were arrested to safeguard vulnerable victims of crime.
